One for mum, one for dad and one for the country

I came across an amazing picture book for the bargain price of $7.95 from a large bookstore chain which I do not visit often. It reminded me of Animalia as I flipped through each enchanting page which included a short poem and a colourful illustration of an animal or insect beginning with the next letter in the alphabet. Beautiful. And, akin to Animalia, at the end you are given reasons to go back and read it again to find things you may have missed the first time. If I had to compare though, I still hold Animalia closer to my heart.

I liked it so much I bought 3. Well, the government is telling us to spend to keep people in jobs after all.

OMG! I loved Animalia too!

I got the wall frieze off an aunt for a birthday...it was huge and went right around my bedroom walls and I would sit for hours trying to find all the secrets hidden by the artist...my favourite was I for Iguana...so bright and green against the desolate grey black rocks...

OOOhh now I want to find it again and put it back up on my wall!

Wow that would have been amazing! Actually, this book is quite basic compared to the detail in Animalia so if we have to compare, Animalia would definitely be better. :)
