Earrings

I made my first pair of earrings yesterday from some cute green beads I bought...it took me longer than I expected!

The statue you see was given to us by my (soon to be) sister in law, tara and it was bought from Cambodia on her recent trip. It came in a pair - a male (pictured) and a female. They are of Khmer dancers in traditional clothing and is made of pure silver (apparently).

Napkin Holders

I created some napkin holders recently for my friend Clea's birthday/housewarming. I copied the idea from a home decorator magazine and it turned out better than I expected. The design in the mag used really flimsy wire... I'm getting together with the girls tomorrow night for our regular "craft night" and I'll be showing them how to make these. I'm not sure how great I'll be as a teacher though but it shall be fun!
